From Plants to Baskets

Description

This is a hands-on practical course.

The art of weaving is one of the oldest practices of man: by weaving branches and other plant fibers you can create incredibly sturdy, light and long-lasting containers. Everyone will take home the 2 baskets they created.

What will we do?

- Day 1: a classic 3x3 willow basket with 12 uprights and a handle.

- Day 2: a serving dish of about 35 cm using hazelnut or chestnut.
